Ive read alot of reveiws so far and the only complaint ive heard of is the weak battery, which can be fixed very easy with a custom battery. (my dad used to work alot with the Tokyo Marui R/C cars before that company got into airsoft, the batteries and connectors are the same for both). It is far outweighed by the postitives ive heard about it, range isnt so much of an issue for me because Ill be at Xtreame Tactics most of the time, and ill probably get something a bit larger for outdoors a bit later
PS if you are looking for cheap batteries, try a local RC shop and see if you can dig up some old tokyo marui batteries and/or connectors, they might still have some kicking around after 30 years..... |

Im gonna be getting a motorcycle soon. I currently own a TmAk47 , god love the thing, its gonna be too big for me to transport. I have always loved sigs, BTW, dont know which sig 55(_) it is, but its definately in the movie HEAT is it not?
anyway, I have been leaning towards going Sig 552 because I may be able to fold it, put it in a small case, and get out to games with it in my saddle bag. (are there any rules about transporting airsoft on motorcycles?) It would be in a 'locked' hard case, dont think id go Napsack, that could hurt. I figure its the perfect size, and just as "dirty sexy" as AK's. Other than the battery, anything i should know about? I dont see very many on the market...

So far the idea seems to be taht there are a few sig552s out there, alot of ppl used them as their first gun and are available on the classifieds once in a while.
The only issues im having is finding lowcaps in Canada, because these have the fake ammo in them, they cant be bought off a US site. 007 and ASCA have them listed but stock is next to nil. See them in the gear classifieds once in a while though |

Your probably thinking of the FNC in the downtown scene?, because I dont recall any sigs in heat other than the pistols. |

In the streets, i thought Pa chino pulls out a sig 551 and shots at Val. its only for a second. i guess it was an FNC, its been years. whatever was in the movie, was siiiick :P
i still have crush on sig 552. the mag that comes with it, and 2 hi-caps would serve me juuuust fine. id probably order the mags with the gun, if i got it from say, 007. any word on transporting airsoft via motorcycle??

It was indeed an FN FNC in heat. You want a small reliable AEG, get a P90.

god bless the p90's, but it aint a sig

552s are great, but the only way id be happy with them is if i had a tone of mags, and a metal body, which dont look easy to get lately, so ARs for me.
P90 is also the king of small arms. |

I just bought my Sig 552 off a teammate. Didn't think much of it at first but then when I held it I loved it instantly.

For the mag, the mid-cap from MAG is a good alternative to stock low-cap. No fake rounds and the size is of the 30 round variety(longer mag). And still no winding required....
They come is a pack of 4 I think form most retailer... About the metal body, I think it comes and goes on most online shop Redwolf had it in-stock a week ago(no money and no means of importing it), but after like 2 days its back to out of stock again, so it's quite a hot item I guess....a dream 552 would have the metal body and the Proud RIS kit.....though between those 2 upgrades I think you are looking at ~$6-700 cdn... |
