How the hell do you wear out your valve knocker to the point where it's unusable the same day you bought it?, I'm still on my original valve knocker for almost a year now and my other one(CQBR) which is on loan for testing since August and went through at least 1 whole case of .28 with only having to replace the trigger and valve knocker once. The only issue with WE that all of us have in common are the infamous part #66. These GBBR require lots of care, basic understanding on mechanical functions and lube if you neglect those then you are bound to face issues, I have more issues with the WA based than my WE, once I replace the part 66 and the hop up to stinger hop up they are fine.

i have no fucking clue how the knocker wore out, but it just wore to the point where it would push off to the top of the valve instead of striking it

I have both....

That said, I have had and still have issues with my Scar. Although its fully upgraded internally with RA Tech reinforced parts.
The big issue I have is due to the trigger assembly....it shoots at 2 bursts in semi and I seem to eject gas a lot.
I have tried to find out what the problem is for weeks now and got many replacement parts for the trigger assembly and it still hasnt fixed the problem (I must say it were M4 parts, so that could be the source)
Assembling and dissasembling the trigger area so many times over and over didn't do well for the parts too I guess, so I have orderd a whole new trigger assembly and I hope that will fix the issue I have now. (it should arrive this week)

But for the short period it did shoot as it should have, it shoots like a dream

The G39c wich I converted to G36 fullsized, shoots like a dream out of the box
And with no updates internally, so I hope it will last some time without upgrading, however I am waiting for RA Tech to bring out a npas system to boost up the fps of this baby
My scar shoots about 470 fps with the Npas system that I adjusted a bit, and my stock G36 shoots about 370 fps.

I like the looks of both guns equally.
But sound and power wise, the scar wins!
In terms of kick, the G36 is the winner for sure! :-)

yes they have, but I dont skirm, so those rules do not apply to me

we can go as far as 7J to be still classified as airsoft in Belgium.

G39C or PDW are better choices then the SCAR IMO. I've shot all three and was more impressed with them than the SCAR. The G39c and PDW have a better system, which is more reliable than the SCAR's system. To date I've only seen one WE SCAR that worked on a consistent basis, and there were few WE parts if any left in them.

that is true

I dont argue the fact that the system of the new G39 is better than the Scar.
(dunno about the pdw)
I seems to be a fact that open bolt systems are just plain more reliable than close systems...

On the other hand, WE will bring out a open bolt scar, I just hope it can be swapped with parts from the current scar system...

Just got my G36 and worked on the mag, very good gun, but insanely bad gaz seal and very weak filling valve, torn off the head by unscrewing it !!!

CO2 mags, fast !

Making a review soon

just an FYI some of the mags comes really dry mine had a minor leak but I swapped the oring with teh one that was prelubed and it's all good now.

I think some of the WE mags orings get dried up during shipping, when I took my G39 mags apart the orings are extremely dry

Actually I opened it to make my usual massive seal but the rubber seal are insanely thin... I don't like that, plus I really don't get why they made the tank unit in two parts
That only gives twice as much chances of getting a leak.

I would have liked a good regular one like a pistol : a floor plate and one simple seal.

I've replaced the hop up 4 times in my scar. It never shot consistently once. Everything in the lower receiver breaks. And when you start to upgrade small parts it causes other parts to break that wouldn't normally break. All the magazines will leak eventually and need to be modded so they don't chop up your bbs. The hop up isn't adjustable without taking the whole thing apart. Unless you carry around a screw driver while gaming and put lots of force on it.

The whole thing needs to remain greased and lubed at all times and the valve o-rings need to stay wet with silicone. After a couple of magazines the valve o-rings dry up and more oil is needed.

All the hex screws slowly come loose from recoil, and need to be tightened often. If your playing in weather colder than +20 Celsius the gas consumption is high and you'll run out of gas before you run out of bbs.

RA-tech parts sometimes have compatibility issues. Their trigger didn't fit, the valve knocker destroyed it's own housing after 5 rounds, and their precision inner barrels flat out was not compatible with the gun at all.

Other than that, I've had absolutely no problems with the gun. LOL
