WE SCAR or WE G39C?

If you had a choice between the two, which one would you choose?

How many gas guns are you going to own? SCAR mags will share with M4s while the G36 type mags won't.

Early WE SCARs had problems but they should have that all fixed up now if you're buying new. If you're buying used you should be careful.

In the hand, I find the FN offering to be much more comfortable to use than the H&K ergos.

If it matters the MK16 is now a bit of an orphan so if you're a person who likes to have a 10/10 accurate rig then you may have trouble building something around that rifle.

Here's a movie to watch while you decide. YouTube - 2010 Military Product Video

I'm leaning towards the G39C myself, however the only thing holding me back is the lack of internal upgrade options. As far as i can tell there are "0" at this point.

The SCAR on the other hand has MANY!

The internal upgrade folks will be all over that thing as soon as there are more out in the wild. I think the SCAR nearly has 2 years in action.

G39C..... definately....

and obviously there are almost no upgrades for it.... its been out what.. 2 weeks?... the SCAR has been out for like.. 2 years... and the SCAR from what ive heard is plagued with problems...

maybe the poll should be expanded to ALL WE guns.... cause this is just an obvious choice...

I have the WE M4 , SCAR and PDW, and the "G39C"

of all of them I like the PDW the most, but the G39C is a close second.. recoil is crisp, report is sharp and loud. FPS.. A little spicy for indoor but borderline.
Mags.. PITA to load and bulky..

You really can't compare a G39C with a SCAR .. one is a MBR/Carbine the other a compact .. the guns are designed for different roles.

The SCAR is a handy gun in the field... the G39C handy in confined spaces.

1. Out of the PDW and the G39C, which one would you say has the 'longest range with accuracy'?

2. Does the SCAR have better accuracy and range than ether the PDW and the G39C. Would you "outdoor" the SCAR in the summer against another AEG SCAR?

the G39c will win on accuracy because it uses the TM pistol style hopup and barrel instead of WEs original pile of shit hopup and barrel, other than that, I cant comment as the only WEs ive owned are the SCAR and M14, but I must say that my example of hte scar was a total and utter pile of horse shit

He probably "fixed" it.

My scar is great, running it on CO2, havent actually games it yet but been doing allot of plinking. However, there are a few parts I upgraded to steel reinforced right off the bat instead of sticking with stock.

So far as I can tell, the G36, being WE's latest gun, is the most "done right" of them.

G39C

Had both (AEG so can't comment on GBBR performance)
But as for looks and use.
I couldn't stand the gumboot stock on the scar.(sold it, good gun though)

The G36C, I didn't really like this gun either ( at first ) but then I started using it and now I don't use anything else.It just works well.

mmmmmm....
My primary is a
Field -TM G36K ( UGLY BETTY )- 400 FPS - .20
CQB - TM G36C ( UGLY BETTY jr )-320 FPS - .20

My first jump into GBBR's this summer was a WE 416 great gun..
My second will be a WE G39C , ( after some real world testing )
I hope this one is a winner .

I have not tested the G39C.. outdoors.. but it shoots straight out to 70ft ...
My PDW.. shoots very far.. but I'm running at 400 FPS with .28, you can't do that at many games.

I have fielded the SCAR.. but again I run it at over 400 FPS with .28 BBs

which you just can't do at public games.
