Tanaka Browning Hi-power stock.
Alright, Just baught a Tanaka Hi Power pistol the other day. Pretty much in love with it! Just gotta replace the seals on the magazines and I should be good to go.
Anyway, I'm looking to get a stock for them... They come in many shapes and sizes for the gun and any would be fine as long as its relitively cheap. Etc. I've seen a lot go anywhere from 50 (Usually sold) to 250 dollars. I'm obviously looking for the cheaper option and authenticity doesn't matter. Any ideas where good places would be to look for those things? (Can mods move this to Accessories discussion? thanks) Last edited by Strelok; February 25th, 2010 at 20:31.. |

Take some measurements first before you buy. I have the Tanakas myself but I am not sure if a real stock holster would fit.
BTW the Inglis Browning really should not have the slot for the stock holster, only the Taiwan/Chinese Browning should have that. Aside from that, I love mine to death, despite some other reviews ( that are even somewhat true )

Well, there are 'inglis' stocks available, so there had to be some slotted model of Hi power at some point.
My version of the Hi power has the rifle sights on it, its not a canadian style HP. So the stock would be a nice addition, canadian or not. I'll give all of those suggestions a try. Thanks everyone! Heres a photo for you guys |

Why not?
They already have, and many pistols do accept stocks. Deal with it. CGN has a few guys that have some available for 160... Woo, I have some saving to do. |

Hi guys. I actually have one of these stocks I bought at a yard sale for $10.00. Sorry I don't want to sell it as I would like to get a Browning (airsoft verson) to use it with. Anyway the research i did says that Inglis made these around 1945 for shippment to the Chinese at the end of the war. I can't remember the numbers that were produced and it was only for a few years. The chinese really like the hand gun/rifle stock types like the broom handle mauser,s and the Brownings. There some history for ya,
