airsoft game - gun usage requirements?
Do you have to enter a match with primary gun and a pistol, or can I use a different gun like my sniper?
Ps. I know I'm under age but it's a general question

Sniper rifles are generally frowned upon with new players as they tend to shoot extremely hot. If you're playing inside, you'll be raped by guys with automatics or even semi automatics. Contact the host of the game you're playing at to find out what FPS is allowed etc.

sidearms aren't necessary. it all depends on your gameplay style.

all games have specific rules and requirements, they differ from game to game. Some may require a sidearm, so may not, some may not allow new people to use a hot sniper rifle and some may be more lenient (stupid)

yes STUPID, to allow a noob/someone that has less experience/is unkown to the other players to use a gun that could hurt the other players

there are alot of rules to observe while using a sniper rifle. I used one and gave up after one match its not easy. reason why most people will call letting a noob use a sniper rifle, is because they do not know the rules, playing styles and are thinking they can sniper form 20 feet away.

let them ask, tell them sniping isn't for newbs, separate the immature from mature. tell them airsoft is 18+ watch the impatient ones leave. watch the remainder ask where to get guns, tell them to wait. watch them curse and disappear. then the select few watch them actually grow into good responsible players. so far thats like 2 of the newbies I've seen |

To answer the question about the sniper rifle. Yes you can use it provided it follows all rules set by the game host. Essentially what you'll be running around with though is a glorified springer shooting 330 FPS (assuming stock) or some possibly shooting hotter than that. You'd usually have to throw in a spring upgrade to get it to levels where it's going to run hot (or by buying a cheap clone which will break in a month of play because the durability of the parts goes down the stronger springs you get).

China clone snipers tend to break more than others.
