I'm not a fan... Nothing special for the price... spend a bit more and get something better.

It depends on what internal part, their barrels aren't THE WORST.... but again, nothing special.

I'm suprised. Redwolf has been raving about them lately...Amos have you seen the new ones? Are they nothing special either?

My only experience was a Deepfire reinforced mechbox. No issues with it so far. Can't speak for their other products though.

I haven't seen anything from deepfire in a little while... I'd say... probably... 8-10 months... But that's because I've always spent the little bit extra and gone for Prometheus or equivalent.

I've worked with a lot of Deep Fire interals, they do in fact suck. The pistons, the tappet plates, reinforced mechbox shell........... I think the only decent thing I found by them is their tightbore.

I use one of their M4 airseal nozzles. For no other reason aside from the fact that its gold colored. That is the actual reason why I bought it! For the most part Ive been using it in the same TM mechbox for 4 years and its never caused a failure, Ive run set ups on other mechboxes with the exact same internals minus the deepfire air seal nozzle and their really is no difference between this upgraded nozzle vs others in my opinion.

definitely can't get modify parts for the same amount. modify is like 2X the price of deepfire somehow. but ye if i were to go modify i'd go for prometheus

I installed a DF tappet plate in a CA mechbox, the part that the nozzle sits in was a bit too long and jammed up on the shell under it. Took a lot of grinding to get it to fit and cycle properly, and when I was done there was little plastic left, reducing the strength of the tappet. I think I still had issues with it after, and went with a Modify one instead.

And their piston material is soft, split a Titanium toothed piston within a thousand rounds.

The pistons have a well-known design flaw (there is too little plastic at the rear of the piston to support the tooth rack; consequently, the entire tooth rack shears off under stress).

This one blew out at the side rails where the teeth are held in place. Have also seen a few of the standard DF pistons get chewed up pretty easy due to the soft plastic used. I'd say they were about on par or a slight bit better than stock CA pistons.
