Question Question regarding mag storage

I was wondering if there was any problems storing your empty
gbb magazine in the gun itself when not in use? Basically will it weaken the clip release or the rubber mating seal?

Or should I just take it out of my gun to store it?

(yes I tried to post this in the frequently asked section but it said "you do not have permission to access this page")

Thanks

Lil bit confused, but here goes:
Magazine spring SHOULD NOT be under tension when your store it. aka don't pull the spring all the way down in the loading position for gbb magazine that have them. Don't store with bbs in them.

Gas magazine should have some gas in them, Otherwise the O-Ring will start to crack and malform and cause leaks when you use them.

Just to make it clear, my question stems simply from the fact that the gun case I have does not have room in it to store my magazine seperately so I have to have it inserted into the grip (I have two guns opposite / facing each other in the case so both mags need to be inserted into guns to fit).

These are CO2 mags so with no bbs in them (no spring compression)

I just need to know if that will cause any problems.

Thanks

Mags inserted doesn't matter either way.

But like was said you should store them with some gas in.

The case I have for my AEG does not have room for all of my mags, so I store all but one of them in my mag pouches on my CIRAS empty and insert the remaining mag upside down part way into my AEG's magwell...

Guns should not be stored loaded

as it is typical for GBB mags to be stored with gas in them.. and it is also typical for BBs to remain in the chamber of GGB pistols it is unsafe to store them in a loaded condition. Accidental discharge is likely.

Store the mag elsewhere if necessary or get a case that is larger.
