Which pistol do you like more?
Title says it all. Also, if you can please post why. Just looks? Functionality or performance?

I'd say Glock 19 over a 17 due to it being more ergonomic and reliable (GBBwise that is), and I'd choose my MK23 over a 1911 style any day. So I couldn't vote, but two things about your gun choices, the G17 has a shorter (faster cycling rate) than the Para, and a different grip angle that makes it more suited to instinctive shooting. Add in a lower profile (distance between the hand and the sights)............. G17 hands down. Gonna vote now, just because I've done some pretty awesome things with Glocks instinctively, where I find 1911 style guns awkward (as awkward as Armalites in fact).

Well I have an M4, but ok :P So you think that the Glock feels better overall? I'm going to handle the two before I decide for myself, but I want others opinions on their experiences.

im a huge fan of 1911 style guns, and i voted to represent this but now that i think about it go for the glock, the double stack 1911s have huge grips ( and i have big hands) where as the glocks are also very comfy.
ive had both and i prefered them like this single stack 1911/usp>glock> double stack 1911 |

I have both. They are too different IMO.
The P14 is a lot bigger and heavier than the glock. The slide lock is more awkward to actuate. If you have smaller hands, the G17 is going to be a better fit. P14 mag is a lot bigger than that of a 1911. double stack vs single. break it down to what brands of each you are considering and it'll make it easier for people to help you. |

Well a friend that has quit airsoft is selling it to me. He can't remember the exact brand, but he says it's one of the top brands. Don't worry though, I will conform this, and handle them myself. I love the look of both, price is crazy, so I can't decide.

most p14.45s are WE or WA so either a goodish brand( depending if its a lemon or not) and a great brand lol

That's good...I don't think it's a lemon since he's used it before, albeit not much. He wouldn't lie to be either, so I doubt he'd sell me something broken or about to break haha. I'm still torn though. I was thinking about getting a chrome slide for the one I get...but I haven't looked into that yet. haha

Noone makes a good p14 (kjw p14 = out of the question)
TM glock 17 100% for the win. Solid, reliable. Accurate. Many parts available. Need I go on? Pm me. |

price is crazy as in high or really good? I added a cheap HFC G17 to dual wield with but the TM gen 3 is far superior even with the plastic slide. The HFC only seems to shoot harder but it's probably due to the heavier metal slide. The WE P14 I have is great but there is some play in the slide and mag well which causes it to rattle a little when you shake it. By far my favourite pistol is the TM MK23. NBB yes but more accurate and powerful. the mini silent hand canon!! |

Well I'm not sure if it's TM yet...I'll update you guys when I find out. Then it would go well with my CA M4

Airsoft surgon makes extra light metal slides that require NO modification. I could have done it with a blindfold. (any requests for a youtube vid?)
The TM hop up is regarded (among gbb's) the very best in the market. (makes for a VERY accurate pistol) The grip is made of (once again) VERY strong plastic. A cheap slip on rubber grip makes it feel like gold. You REALLY can't go wrong with the TM 3rd generation glock 17. Did I mention TM recently released a TM 3rd gen with a ported barrel, exteneded magwell & race style grip? (im not sure what else to call it :\ ) -alex is s0o0o0 tired. |

I have a bunch of KJW P14 magazines lying around here but haven't been able to find a P14 fornkyseld
Since you are discussing a GBB go with the G17 only if it's a Marui or a clone |

Personally, I'm not a fan of either Glocks or 1911s, but if I had to choose one, I'd go with the P-14 .45. Big round, big mag, big gun. The Glock looks like a Cabbage-patch Kid compared to that beast. Plus you can't go wrong when you go Canadian!

Making fun of glocks tsk tsk...
Still not a fan of guns made out of plastic. Prefer my 1911 over the glocks..... but I wouldn't mind having both. Voted .45. |
