Looking for information on Star Airsoft guns SRC
I have been trying to locate a few reviews on Star Airsoft guns. I recently noticed them being sold on Mach1 airsoft and was hoping that someone has owned and maintained one of their products. They have four versions for sale, that are Cansoft. The HK416, G36C, M4 SD and MG36 are being currently sold.
From what I have read of their spec sheet they seem pretty much fully upgraded as far as the mech box, only thing I could see upgrading was the barrel to a 6.03-6.04 tight bore other then that the gun seems pretty much done. If anyone can maybe post a few links to reviews you have found, or if you have one please post some information on it. |

SRC is not Star so if your looking for reviews it might help to search the right brand. the SRC guns they carry are Gen 3 as well that will help find info but they are still new so you may not find much info on them other than what retailers say.

SRC is actually the short for "Star Rainbow Company".... And because they are new in the airsoft market they arent that much review on them.... They release their Gen 3 because their previous model had alot of flaws..... But now they are good little guns ( I know cuz I've had one for two years now....)

Thanks for the extra information on the SRC line up, I still would like to read a few reviews so again if anyone finds a link please post it for the forum.
It has been posted that the Version 2 had issues, but the V3's were fine. Is that they model version you referred to, or was it the gear box? About age verifying I gave my info out to someone in May I believe and have not had it go through yet. I am hoping the next time I run into someone that age verifies it will go through without such a long delay. |

SRC is not a new company, they have been around for a fair amount of time.
According to Ken at 007 these third generation (gen 3) SRC AEGs are supposed to be very good quality. They had a lot of time and a lot of mistakes to learn from in their previous line ups. When SRC first hit the market they literally put garbage in a box and called it an airsoft gun, supposedly they have now come a long way from what they were. Even though I haven't had the pleasure in tearing one apart yet I trust Kens judgment.

Wow, KoolAidMan, your not helping by telling every single person who is not AV'd who has a gun question to go get AV'd. Maybe they just want that gun.
Ex. Noob - "Hey guys is the G&G GR16 from buyairsot.ca a good gun? KooAidMan - "Go get fucking age verified!!!!!" Maybe he just wants to know if the G&G GR16 is a good gun... |

Maybe you should respect the rules we have on this website? WE DO NOT SUPPORT UNDERAGED PEOPLE BUYING AIRSOFT. Unless you are AV'd, we will assume you are under 18, and will therefore not help you find guns. We won't tell you which gun to get if you are 18, because our answer is, you shouldn't be getting a gun, because you aren't 18. NOT 18, THEN NO AIRSOFT FOR YOU. There are thousands of reviews of those guns on these forums anyways. Maybe you people should try using the search function before posting a million threads about which gun is best? So YES he should tell anyone who isn't AV'd who wants a gun to go get AV'd. That is the answer you will get from this website. Don't like it? Try a different forum.

Then how come it says on Crosman guns that adult supervision is required for users under 18? (And dont say anything about Crosman being crap - I already know that). So you cant buy it but you can use it?

Crossman != Local laws != Canadian law != ASC policy
The users of this site respect a set of policies that stop the proliferation of minors buying guns. You are encouraged to ask questions and learn about the sport, however, non-AVed members asking questions on what to buy, where and how will not be helped. |

Yes well outside of Ontario it is not law but yes under 18 can use under adult supervision but cannot buy. This forum fully supports 18+ and no one here can sell airsoft to under 18's or even tell them where they can. Most but not all games ran by members here are also 18+ only so if your under 18 that leaves your basement as the only place you can use your toy if you do get one.
