hey everyone.. I'm throwing this out for some options. I'm looking at building an elongated MP5 .. sort of a baby SR25 or long SD5/6. now the only thing I'm 'stuck' on is moving the bipod converting foregrip farther forward without strapping it to the barrel/silencer (that whole bending wobbling the barrel thing) ... so whats the longest RIS/RAS mp5 handgaurd anyone knows of? or is it possible to use an m4 one as a floating style?
now I know it would easier just to use an M4 platform.. but it's a personal preference for the Mp5 platform
ideas.? suggestions?
oh! and stupid question... will the 28Rnd TM mp5K mags fit in the Mp5? I'd really like to have the shorter mags without a silly double hicap
