help with choosing a gun
Hey guys gotta pick your brains a bit. Im new to the airsoft world i was big in paintball and now i want to switch over!! im looking at getting an electric gun dont trust the spring guns and i dont want to deal with gas, im lookin to spend between 300-500 on the gun so im looking for suggestions? theres not a whole lot of choices here in canada so any help would be really appreciated thanks guys!! good hunting

I think something that takes a large battery and has alot of after market parts available for it like an M4/M16 or AK47 with a full stock for the battery. But thats just my opinion on a frist AEG.

check out the Ontario games section, get out to a game, you will be able to look at the different types of guns and maybe even get age verified there.

Forget specific makes/brands/models...
Get out to games and try to handle as many different ones as you can. Be polite, don't be a drooling goof...and guys will usually be ok with showing you what they have and pros/cons. It's a long drive...but if you can make the CQB event on the 31st, there'll be tons of guns/gear/etc...there and this one is geared towards newcomers. A "cheaper" AEG might be just fine so far as you're concerned...or you may find it completely unacceptable. Same with pistols, gear, accessories, etc.... There's places to save a couple of bucks...and there's places where it's not worth buying clone of a clone of a clone to save money. A chance to get hands on without test buying stuff is worth a lot of money (either saved or spent). Tys |

ok thanks guys iv been checkin around the forum and im lookin for range with my gun and i dont think i could handle a really small gun im looking at these 2 here what do you think?

Those two guns are great starter guns, I have heard but I would recommend buying from some other retailer....buyairsoft.ca is not a very good place to buy from.

My frist gun was a M16 A2 and Im 5'9 and I found it to long and cumbersome to handle. But thats just me agian. So I ended up with an M4.

I'm 5'9" and just got a M4/CQB and I like it very much !
This is my first gun and it's all metal on top of that, get AV'd and lots of wonderful things will be up for grab !! |

ok where would you recomend i buy from?? im 5'10" when i paintball i use an ak74 with a drum mag the barel is 21 inches long gun is around 40"so im used to a bigger gun how was the m16 for accuracy? i think thats my biggest concern i want something were i can put a scope on it and actually hit targets with the scope.

Look into getting Age verified. Go back into the Newbie Tank and look at the stickies near the top of the postings, and you will be able to access guns from our classifieds here, as well as reputable retailers. How old are you by the way?

ok lol ill what i can do about verifying my age im 23 next month btw sounds like people are having problems getting age verified around here cant get ahold of people i guess

you can't really ask which gun we suggest IMO ... You can fall in love with mp5 and upgrade it crazily. Depends which gun you like, really. Most people prefer m4 or ak because they are the most shown and known.
