kraken ak mod

Hi just a quick question, I refuse to give up on my kraken ak and am determined to remake it into, something. Anyways I was just wondering if this piece is compatible with the receiver body? (with some modding of course) http://www.ebairsoft.com/romanian-st...ck-p-1075.html

yes but it'll likely break the back of the receiver, putting a heavy steel stock on a cheap plastic body is never a good idea, plus it'd look pretty shitty

Ya I realize it would look like crap. I'm getting a better gun as soon as I can I just dont want to give up completely on the one I already have. I wanna keep it as a loaner or something I'm trying to get a couple buddies into the game. Anyone have any ideas???? How about the wooden stocks available are they too heavy??

anything heavier than the plastic stock is gonna put more stress on the body, add the weight of the battery in the stock and that's even more stress.

I'd suggest giving it a nice paintjob or something, and maybe upgrading the internals, or get AV'd and then get a metal body from the classifieds, then you can proceed with your upgrade plans.

+1, if you break the rear stock trunnion because of the extra weight, you're SOL. Trunnions (or "AK-38") are a pain to source.

btw, wood stocks weigh hardly any more than the plastic ones from my experience
