Helical piston?

Hey all. Here's my list of parts either on their way or in my gun:
Elite 10.8v mini battery wired to deans
G&P m160 motor
Guarder sp140 spring
CA tightbore
Systema Hop-up bucking
G&G Hyper torque helical gears (the ones in question).
so do i need a helical piston, and if i do, can i at least run my stock CA piston until i can afford to get a new helical one? thanks again everyone for thier support.
-Brett
P.S. i am aware of the fps this will give me, i am a plinker not a gamer

Helical piston? There is no such thing. All pistons are the same well except for half tooth which is for ITU.

Lol I wouldn't wanna run that FPS on G&G gears... even if they were helical.

After a 2 second search of "G&G hyper torque helical gears". I have found a picture of the gears which show you do not need a helical piston.

BTW, there is such thing called a helical piston.

ok, thanks everyone for the super quick responses! Unfortunately i am not very fimiliar with helical gears , i figured i would find out when aligned the piston to the sector gear but it's always good to check first .

You can use either full tooth or half tooth pistons for that gear set, but a half tooth piston is not required. It's just an added and unnecessary expense.
