Painting Mags
Whats the deal with painting mags? Good idea, Bad idea?
Can you just buy mags in TAN/COYOTE? Or better to just paint them up? If just painting them, any special paint or way of painting them?

Paint them like you paint your gun. Mags are way easy to get scratched up. Paint them, get it scratched, paint them again. They will get scratched because you throw them in a bag to a game, you shove them into your pouches, and take them out, slide it in your gun, and take it out. Paint will get scratched up in time.
You can buy them coloured, but then, they're just the same shit but painted. |

Mask off the portion that fits in the magwell, that'll reduce the scuffing and wear.

I'd have to stay no without knowing what the mags are made of and what kind of paint you have there.
You can get military type colours of spray paint from Dave's Surplus out in New West.

Echo, most ppl here use spray paints from Krlyon. Spray canisters/air brushing can distribute the paint more evenly giving you a finer finish. Krylon can be purchased at crappy tire, home depot, Michael's, etc.
