What do i need next?

Well, I'm currently in the process of gearing up in prevision of next year airsoft season, when i'll be 18. For now, i can't think of what would i need next, so i'll post a list of what i have/will have (ordered, waiting for shipment),

I have

OD BDU
Gorethex Combat Boots
M88 Replica helmet
Revision Eyewear-Desert Locust Black goggles ( I got them on Ebairsoft, are they ok for protecting my eyes?)
G&G M4 Blowback (BB is useless, i know. but i did not had much choice)
Tactical Vest with Mag Pouches
5 HC Mags (for the M4, from Ebairsoft)
a spare 9.6V 1500 mAh
Eotech 552 Replica (from Ebairsoft)

For the gun, i recently bought some BB Bastards .25 (.20 were out of stock) Black here on ASC Mart
I hope they will have decent performance, as i think New gens of G&G have a stock Tightbore 6.04mm

Well, what do you guy's think of this? what do i need next to be a perfect Airsofter? (exept 18 years old, i know this one.)

A good battery charger, and maybe some paintball goggles if you're planning on playing at a paintball place.

Also, best way to test your eyeware is to have someone with a hot rifle shoot them at point blank.

While you're not wearing them. I know that seems like that would go without saying, but you'd be surprised at some people so better safe then sorry.

True... reminds me of that Darwin award someone posted here the other day about the dude who decided to see if his jacket was knife prooff by stabbing it while he was wearing it.

Well, theres a descent 2 colors charger that came with the gun, and for Eyewear, i'd better take no chances, i will shoot them with my pellet rifle.

Any other things you can think about ? does some events require Real caps?

Sorry for that many questions, thats why I posted in the Newbie Tank

No, it isn't. Get a real charger.

Some do, not that many though. Most just do ammo restrictions, like "no more than 400 rounds." Personally I just hate highcaps. They rattle and it takes longer to wind them every 100 rounds than it does to switch out a mag. And reloading under fire is totally awesome.

No worries. We like intelligent, meaningful questions.

Anti-fog. I can't remember the brand a lot of people swear by. Think it was Fog-Tech or something? Not sure. Search around or ask around, either way, you'll get a lot of results.

A decent charger would be the Pirahna Digital Peak Charger. I have one, they're amazing once you get to know how to use it (Learning curve isn't hard, and if you're unsure, just post a thread. You get some helpful advice for what you're charging). Some people also recommend the TLP 4000C (I think that's what it's called?) for a charger. Chargers require a little bit of research, otherwise you may get a crapper.

You may want to get a spare pair of boots, just since wearing regular shoes or just your regular work boots can get pretty dirty. Scavenge your house for some spare ones. Worst comes to worst, buy some cheap boots for like $20.

Midcaps/Lowcaps for sure. Hi-caps can get annoying because after about 20 shots, you have to rewind your mag, where-as with a 100rd midcap, there's no winding, same with a 50rd lowcap, that and some games will say you can only field 1 high-cap, where-as you're able to field as many lowmidcaps/lowcaps as you can carry logically on you.

I wouldn't cheap out on boots.

The last thing I would want is sore feet at the end of the day or worse?.

Spend the extra money for comfort.
I love laying down in the grass knowing I'm uncomfortable as hell with all the damn mosquitos eating me, but my feet are nice and comfy and could not be happier

$20 boots + $20 insoles = feels like $120 boots Love my pillow insoles.

And speaking of mosquitos, get some good bugspray. Large bottle of possible. Especially if you plan to play in forestry settings. Buggers will eat you alive faster then a marathon-runner-turned-zombie.

The anti-fog I have heard that is good is cat...something cat crap or something along the lines. Yeah get mid caps or low caps, high caps are way too noisy. Also find an airsoft place near you that you can play at when you turn 18...that is a VERY important thing

Check out whats eyewear is legal at the fields near you, some may only allow pball approved, some might be more flexible, get something for both as it's nice to have options.

The universal NPT smart charger is a cheap but good choice for a basic battery charger. About $36 at airsoftparts.ca. No learning curve required, just plug it in and go.

Hicaps aren't good, they rattle, you have to wind them, and they're not very realistic. There's very few games short of hardcore milsim that requires realcaps, so low or midcaps would be fine. I personally am a realcap man though, the realism is one of the primary reasons why I was atracted to airsoft. I have nothing against lowcaps though and very little against midcaps.

Cat Crap is one of the best anti-fogging solutions, cheap and safe. But if you get a good pair of eye protection, with thermal lenses and/or fans then you probably won't need it.
