Hey guys, im debating whether to get a steel or reinforced 14.5" aluminum outer barrel (Madbull) for my M4. Any assistance would be great!

Steel barrels are very nice. Hefty and add weight. Some are that parkerized grey colour...vs black.

Downside...they add weight.

The MB outer barrels are very nicely made. Anodized black finish. Slightly length adjustable.

So far as fit and function goes...they're the same.

So far as colouring and weight...well, that's up to you.

Thanks for your reply Tys. Is there any other brand you would recommend for an M4 outer barrel?

Yeah, i was thinking about getting a STEEL barrel, preferrably from G&P, but most of them are clockwise threading. Do you know anyone here that sells a King Arms steel barrel? or any other steel barrel? I prefer the weight and I really like the grey color

Okay, I think Ive decided. Im going to go with Guarder for an outer barrel for my M4. Would you recommend that I get the full size barrel like:

http://airsoftglobal.com/product_inf...oducts_id=1364

or a front set that attaches to my CQB like:

Im not sure which one is better, so your opinions would be awesome!

Well it would depend on what you are attaching it too, but if It was me I'd pick the short one.

Why? That barrel is like a big long lever, dig in your flash hider if you trip and you might pry it right off what it's attached too. A short one will have less mass and less leverage.
