Nah it'd be useless, Anything that works well in the day will work even better in the dark. Trust me.

I would recommend staying away from black. One its very noticable outside, if you play outdoor games you will be seen. Nothing in nature is black. I would get green if I were you.

Black is usually a bad color to wear in the woods.. unless you're the Viet Cong running around the jungles of Vietnam I'd go with OD/camo
Instead of posting every random thought you have why not search the forums... read a bit, etc. Last edited by -Skeletor-; July 13th, 2009 at 23:50.. |

Olive Drab green is by far the most universal camo when not in a desert situation. Especially if you break it up with a black vest or something.

I'd advise not getting a black vest... stick with OD/Camo/Coyote Brown.

OD Camo? Meh
I like using OD accessories, my vest, belt, dropleg .ect are all OD, but camo wise? I think your better off with an actual pattern

IF your desired impression is that of a SWAT assaulter, then navy blue (better choice for low light conditions) or black will work just fine. However, as everyone so far has pointed out, unless you are doing very close quarters/room clearing stuff, wearing all black will make you a walking, talking (calling "HIT" a lot), bb magnet.
I should know...right Tankdude?? At any rate, the advice re. green/green-ish already given is sound, especially if you wish to remain mostly hidden within the foliage, or tan/brown-ish for more barren dirt-type landscapes, but there's nothing really wrong with black if that's a "look" you're going for. Just don't expect to live overly long out there. Or, consider it a challenge to stay alive despite what you're wearing... 'Fly

unless you are doing most of your gaming at night or in an urban setting, black is the worst colour for airsoft.

I fine Woodlands work great. I have OD gear, and an OD and Black AEG. The idea is to break up your outline. In the bush all black would make that outline stand out. Even keeping to the shadows, you would still be a large black blob. I shoot at most large black blobs!! LOL

Black is not a color that is natural in the bush -- So most of the time black stands out like a SORE THUMB...
Even if some one has great camo buy a black vest I'm able to pick out the big black blob from FAR away. Stay away from black |

All I can say is that during the summer it gets HOT. The black soaks up all the sun.
