Odd firing behaviour TM M4
Hello!
I was wondering if anyone could help me. My friend lent me his stock TM M4, and there's a bit of a problem. Upon test firing of the gun, Corvinus and I found that after every few shots, a BB or a pair of BBs could come out at a 45 degree angle towards the ground, at a high speed. It even happened during the chrony at the last game we went to. I say it might be a double feed since the gun is not maintained well, and since he shot really crappy BBs out of it. I would like to know if anyone knows what it might be, and if we can fix it. Thanks! James/Copcarman

probably the hop up rubber is worn out or torn... OR some sort of loading mech malfunction...
but check the rubber first...

That's what we're saying right now :P
We're going to tell him as soon as we give it back to use high polish BBs. Since I got it, we've been using BB Bastards.

Okay, so we took apart the rifle, and the hop-up rubber is fine, not torn in the slightest.
PS: it's a two piece hop-up

next step, look for proper loading mech operation, look if the loading nozzle is operating as it should. you could also crack the mechbox up to inspect it for : broken tappet plate/ return spring, or maybe the nozzle is just not on the tappet plate...
