Rather than doing all these upgrades, why not learn to use what you have first.

Far too many new players eem to think they need to upgrade their guns when they dn't even know how to play the game. Learn first (6 months to a year), then figure out what you need the gun to do and upgrade accordingly.

I agree with the first three of the above posts. Also, Krakens already fire at about 370fps, too much higher and you'll exceed the legal limits of most fields.

As to the Trigger Master, I wouldn't for a Kraken. A Trigger Master costs somewhere around $100, you likely paid less then twice that for the whole gun. A Trigger Master is a good addition, but it isn't really neccessary untill you upgrade alot of other stuff. So I'd advise the same as Draklen, play with the gun stock for awhile. Who knows, you may not like the AK47 style and want to get something else. Also, some experience with it stock will give you an idea of what if anything you may want to upgrade in the future.

Add me to the list.

Bigger spring needs a bigger motor. And forget about playing on any field. If you want a better gun, then buy one.

I've learned the hard way that upgrading and maintaining a low end gun will cost you more in the end.

I don't know how many times we've pointed that out. Yet people keep recommending low end guns to n00bs

But if you really wanna upgrade it buy a metal body,it will break where the metal part that hold the buttstock meets the body, those plastic tabs are prone to break if you put too much force on.With those cheap white plastic bushing and weak gears upgrading it without doing the shims will surely destroy it.there are better way of upgrading without a spring, like a tighbore, good rubber and sealing air leak.imo anyway.fps is not the key for a reliably,i prefer a weaker but reliable gun,an upgraded broken gun on the field is worthless.

i currently run a upgraded kracken, if the mechbox is well tuned there is no reason that your kracken will not last long... mine survived a 12v marine battery...

good call on getting aved!
