mp5 RAS battery fitament

Hello, I have a question regarding an mp5 with an RAS front. What would be the best way to power it? i do not want to use a full stock, and have heard that most RAS won't take a battery. what i would like to do is get the navy vertical grip that can hold a battery, AND find an RAS that can hold a second battery (i want to connect the 2 batteries in parrallel). that way i can have plenty of juice to last me a whole game.

if anybody can suggest a RAS that can hold a battery(8.4 volt) then that would be a great help to me. also any feedback regarding using two batteries connected in parallel would be great. thank you.

also i know there are at least 2 recent posts similar to this one. i read them but there wasn't much info there.

A vertical grip won't be able to hold an AEG battery.

Holds both Lipos and mini AEG batteries.

Unless you stick a lipo in your RIS I do not think it will be able to fit. There are however, hand guards designed to fit small to large type batteries with rails attachments, like this Guarder SD hand guard.

As for hooking up your batteries in parallel, you now have to lug around 2 batteries in the front end of your weapon. I don't see a point of connecting 2 batteries in parallel if you can just swap a fresh battery in under 10 seconds.

You can fit a 9.6V 4/5SC in the handguards that looks like ass.

I use a peq box for my batteries on my ras and i dont really mind the looks cause i go for function but if you really want to fit a battery in the ras unit get some chiklet type lipo and remove the outer barrel inside the ras unit to make it fit inside.

If you have the marui ras, you can fit a small battery, if you have the jg ras, it comes with the navy grip you have pictured and the ras cannot fit any battery.

Aftermarket ras are usually expensive and chunky.

The navy grip can hold either a small 8.4 or certain lipos like the hot power stick as long as the ras has holes cut for the wires to pass.

I have the jg and hated the look of the navy foregrip so much that I now use a peq to hold a KA 11.1 lipo

Go to lipo. No point in stringing batteries together.
