KWC Desert Eagle vs TM Desert Eagle?
Just kind of curious as to the ups and downs of both products. Immediately, I'm expecting everyone to say the TM is the better option, but everyone has their opinions.
Anyway, looking at both, debating which would be my side-arm. Personally, I don't know the difference. I don't know if the KWC is TM compatible or not. The reason I'd go for the TM is because of the hardkick, since that's initially what attracted me to it, but the KWC is quite a lump sum cheaper, but as always, you get what you pay for. Not an urgent thing or anything, since I don't have the funds necessary for either weapon for the time being, which is also a big thing. If it's worth it for me to just sit back for a bit and save up an extra bit for the TM, I'd have no problem. Just looking for some pros and cons on each. Thanks ASC.

i dunno about the KWC, but the TM one, while being TM and having TM performance and reliability, its plastic, light, and has a horrendous clickety clack plastic sound when it fires, it has great kick, but i absolutely hate the feel and sound of the gun

Not sure if the TM one is plastic or not. I know the KWC is full-metal. The TM one actually weighs a little bit more than the KWC one, so I'm guessing it may also be full-metal?

TM is all plastic except usual parts like trigger, hammer, internals (where necessary), etc.

maybe for you, but every time i put mine in someones hand, a big smile appears on their face... and when they press the trigger the smile is even bigger!, light! the gun is pretty heavy!! and the big plus is that you can fire TWO full mag off a single gas charge! so imo...tm ftw!

KWC desert eagle is NOT full metal. Only the slide is. its frame is still abs.
Taking that into consideration I'd personally prefer the TM.

I just got a KWC DE, Shot compaired it to a TM HK and the KWC has more kick!. It also sounds better IMHO.
Everything on my KWC is metal but the frame, and there is no KWC trade marks just real trades. Only thing I have noticed about the KWC is the paint tends to come off easily just from being holstered.... I can get 2 full mags out of one charge of propane as well. All in all I love the KWC... I don't think the metal outer barrel is stock though because the Hop up can't be accessed like it says in the manual, I gotta reach in with a pin and turn the little lever with the barrel off the gun. |

I have shot and held both. TM hands down. I own the TM one so I may be biased but I like the feel much better plus now you can get guarder full metal kits for them.

I personally don't like the TM that much, never used the KWC though. I hate the clicking sound it makes and when you hold it, it feels too plasticy. Although it is most likely much more reliable then the KWC, which if you game it, is one of the most important things about a airsoft gun. Just my opinion though.

I will keep you guys up to date on reliablity, I have already used my KWC as a football *flew out of my holster* while running and it landed in a nice pile of sand... cleaned it up and it shot just fine. And surprisingly it did not scratch from getting kicked, it scratched from getting holstered lol.
