G&G MP5 Blowback

Hey everyone, a friend of mine is considering buying the G&G MP5 Blowback to be his first gun, as a kind of all-rounder.

I personally picked up the G&G M4 CQB, and I like it, so we're just debating.

Please let me know if you have any experience with the MP5 model, and thanks in advance =)

He is also considering a Star G36C model, but it is significantly more expensive, so yeah, it's a tough call.

Hello,

Please advise your buddy that all of G&G's blowback models are plastica versions. As a retailer who's sold a few of those models I have to mention that there is a reason why we do not sell them anymore. The blowback is not very reliable and from previous experience there have been problems involving the safety switch, the blowback over functioning and shotting involuntarily, and other minor problems.

Overall, if the problems do not occur it is an excellent gun but I've had quite a few of them returned for repairs.

To avoid problems try going for the non blowback variant ... especially since that model is full metal (except the upper receiver).

Good luck,

Are you referring to the MP5s specifically?

Because I have right here with me a G&G M4A1 blowback and the upper is 100% certain full metal, came that way out of the box. Maybe there are different versions of the blowback line.
