My new Glock 23

I just picked this KJ Glock 23 up a couple day ago and i decided it needed something....so i striped the paint off the magazine and im going to do the same to the slide. I've finished the magazine and sending it out tomorrow to get custom engraving done but this it was it looks like so far.....

If you stripped the paint, and haven't put a clear-coat on it, I think you will want to put a coat of something on it to prevent it from oxidizing (basically rust)

that looks really nice, but i would be afraid if you had a metal mag release that it would scratch it.

What did you use to remove all of the paint? Sandpaper and elbow grease I assume?

Yea i started with 400grit, then jumped right to watersanding with 2000 then polished the hell out of it. I didnt do the whole thing just the sides and front, that back is still black and the top, I thought it would look better then all steel. And i should be heading out later today to get it engraved and then im going to fill the engraving with 24k gold flake.
