tightbore 6.03

Quick question. I have a mechbox in my hk416 that reliably shoots 340-345fps for BW3. I like the size knowing we will be in tight areas. If I could ask for anything more from this gun it would be more range and tighter groupings. It comes with a 6.08 barrel. would my fps be effected by installing a 6.03 tightbore? I cant go any higher than 350fps.

hmm, that will probably put you around the 360 range, no way to be sure without testing though

yes, all tightbore barrels will increase your fps just depends on how much though. If your running the 10.5 outer barrel then your fps will probably jump from 6-10fps...they might let you run over the 350fps limit, for myself i game mine 12fps over the limit, just have to let everyone know.

How would the 6.04 compare in performance? Would it be closer to the 350 fps? In reality should one even care about such a small amount?

6.04 should technically give you slightly lower fps, but I doubt by that much. I would say find out how strict the 350 rule is, like, if you are 351, then your gun is a no go, then try 6.04 or a lighter spring or something with the 6.03. But if they give you a little room to spare, then the 6.03 shouldn't be an issue. 6.03 I heard is the best barrel diameter to maximize accuracy.
