Ran into another problem.

So the saga of the GR-16 continues. So I am still trying to add the metal body I bought. The last hurlel I've run into is this. The selecter switch has come loose for some reason and because the screw is on the inside of the receiver I don't know how to tighten it. The reason I can't tighten it is because I can't fit a screw driver, even the S shaped one I have between the two sides of the body. Any ideas?

You have to remove the cover on the oipposite side of the receiver (the little round cover) and access the screw from there.

I actually searched asc and found out you can also use a small screw driver and turn it a quarter turn at a time. If I remove the tab on the opposite side of the selector switch is it possoible to put it back so it won't fall out?

A drop or two of super glue should do the trick. Enough to hold it in place, but not enough to keep you from punching it out again if the need arises. I plan to do the same thing on my CA M4 which is currently in pieces awaiting parts.

+1 A drop of super glue is the way to do it. That's how I've done it on all my guns, and not too hard to remove by pushing from the inside the receiver when the mechbox is removed.
