wondering if ?
So I have me a G&G GR-16. I was interested in the G&G blowback as Velocity airsoft, but its a plastic body. Anyone know if I can take out the pnuematic part of that gear box and put it in my full metal G&G, or is the body custom made for a blow back system?

Pretty sure it's a custom gearbox for the blowback system. Even if you could just remove the blowback piston assembly, there's no way to easily mount it on a standard gearbox shell. You would have to have it machined professionally.
As for dropping the entire blowback gearbox into a standard AR receiver set, that remains to be seen. Ask m102404, he's taken a look at one recently I think. Search for his post on it, that may answer your question better than I can, since I'm essentially guessing based on the diagrams and images I've seen. |
