P90s!
Hi!
I'm curious, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each gun? In what ways are they different. What ways are they better or worse compared to eachother? ECHO 1 Full Metal E90 Elite Tactical Weapon ( P-90 ) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=3819 CA P90 Sportline Value Package http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=4123 The ECHO 1 seems WAYYYYYY more popular than the CA p90 so I wanna know whats so much better about it. Thanks guys! |

The CA Sportline has a plastic receiver, while the E90 has a metal receiver. Probably a deal-breaker in most people's opinions.
There's some other differences like the E90 has 7mm metal bushings already installed in the mechbox. |

On top of a metal receiver, Echo 1 has a 7mm reinforced gearbox, reinforced gears and tougher internals. It also comes with a decent 9.6V battery, 2 midcap mags, and shoots 350 out of the box. Mine's been nothing but a dream to shoot so far. The only issue I've had is that my cutoff lever broke not long after getting it, so not it's full auto only. The replacement part is cheap and easy to replace, but since I only shoot in short auto bursts anyway, semi isn't really an issue.
The down side of the Echo 1 for some people is its Echo 1 trademarks, whereas other P90s have the FN trademarks instead. The CA is one of their lower end Sportsline models and it's all plastic. If you read reviews on it, it's not being very well received overall. I've never seen one myself so can't comment from personal experience.

Does anyone else realize that it says Full metal on the Echo1 page he linked, yet in the description it says the plastic is extremely durable? lol

Full metal receiver. The real P90 has a plastic/fiber body too.

Picked up a CA P90TR for $300 (with 5 mags, battery, and an rds)...seems like a nice gun so far, going to try to game it for half a day next weekend. Some of the internals have been upgraded, but mostly stock gun.

I have an E90 one as well. Haven't put a ton of rounds through it yet, but I love it already. The metal reciever is a real bonus, and the thing does have beefy internals. From what I read about the CA Sportline ones, for the prince the E90 is by far the better deal. And this is coming from a real CA fan. The Sportline P90's have really shitty pistons (like early CA guns), and I'm not sure what else in the mechbox is below normal CA standard. On the flipside, the E90 has beefed up internals over what even they usually put in guns. Not to mention the 2 standard mags it comes with instead of the shitty P90 hicaps. For the $350 I payed for it I think it was an awesome deal.
