Maruzen aps2 sv question

When i first got my maruzen out of the box i would pop in the mag shoot and nothing would happen except the BB coming out of the barrel when I tipped it over barrel first. It looks llike there might be a gas valve or whatever on the bolt but i got this gun from airsoftextreme completely stock and I know it's a spring rifle (well i think so). What should I do?

Dial in hop up. Most new guns are shipped with the hop up set full off, therefore the BB has nothing to rest against to hold it in the barrel. So dial in hop up and the "problem" should be fixed.

And it's a spring gun, no idea what gas valve you are talking about. And if it's a bone stock APS2 then it has a fixed hop up. APS2/CA M24 mags are the same (I bring up because when the feed lips get chewed up, double feeding occurs), sounds like maybe you might be double feeding the gun when loading actually, each time the bolt gets pulled back, even an inch, and released, it loads a BB. Learn to pull the bolt back FULLY and shove forward once. Overall problem could just be a "User" issue and not a gun issue.

Maruzen APSII SV does not come with adjustable hop-up stock Stalker.

Poor airseal on the piston/cylinder heads could be the issue here. Or the barrel is in dire need of a cleaning.

There is a long list of reasons why the round is not coming down the barrel, but I doubt this is a hopup issue because its a non-adjust. I would suggest investing in either the PDI or areochamber units. I suggest the PDI simply because it is much more affordable and you can use any standard inner barrel cut you choose with it.

While you're at it, I would suggest upgrading the bolt and piston as well. There are some APSII builds in the media section as well the upgrade section. All the parts that I would list from my build a few years ago won't do you much since most of those parts now are out of production for almost 2 years.

Now I went to check my gun out and the bolt doesn't even come back a cm. also when it did you would have to apply force on the push forward not the pull back to cock it, which is different from my m24 and type 96's cocking.

anyone?
