The Classic Army CA416D
That's right. I googled "CA HK416" to see if such a thing existed, and found this article on the Crossfire Airsoft Group's blog.
Click here. If this baby turns out to be nearly as good as their M15A4 Armalite series, the end of VFC's Heckler & Koch production won't seem so bad. Here's hoping. |

Can't imagine it wouldn't run a very similar or same gearbox as the m15a4. Hoping anyways....

Classic Army stuff in general is fairly good. This rifle (And believe me, CA knows that people have been waiting for this one) should be up to par with their other metal guns. And now I'm going to stop posting after every other user.

I would swap the body on my 416 for this one, but if the body has the same disassembly as the CA M15's then I'm not interested. I prefer the hinge attached pull away frame better.

If you're refering to hinging at the front pin, like a real AR does, you only have two options, a PTW or an ICS M4. While the ICS M4 is a split Version 2 gearbox, it is proprietary and will not fit any other AEG body, only the ICS one. At this point, neither ICS or SystemA (PTW) make an HK 416 body, though if you can find a plain ICS M4 or PTW body you could get the proper trades engraved. That would be a close as you could get at this point as the regular armalight body is different from the HK 416 one in height. That rail is taller.

I hear this rifle is going to be super expensive.

I've seen a couple reviews online. Apparently the gun's already available in Germany. I'm willing to hold off my next AEG purchase until it becomes available to us Canucks.

Apologies in advance for bumping this back up - didn't want to make a new thread.
I saw the sportline version and blowback version of the 416 show up recently on uncompany and on the CA website. This actually available to North America now? or are they just tickling and teasing? Any additional news on the CA416? |

Their website seems to be fucked. Mind posting a link?

http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...p?prodid=24860 Classic Army (their site seems to be moving in slow motion) - http://www.classicarmy.com/new/produ...roducts_id=661 They have a short version out as well, I was just too lazy to post more links. |
