656 fps @ 4 joule

Being deceived by the low numbers I was having with my modified Type-96, I decided to do a complete clean up and lube on the internal plus a clean up of the hop up and inner barrel. I also put teflon tape on the inner thread of the taper head and on outside noozle of the taper, to assure less air leak when entering the hop up. Results are very good, I passed from my last best shot of 560fps to 656fps at 4 joule using .2g bbs. Here is also my lowest shot.

I have to agree with this one, I just finished cleaning out one of my "old" Airsoft, basic dismantling and lube and simply changing your o-rings can increased your fps just as an example my "old" APS 2 it was shooting 390 prior to the cleanup, just finish testing it again and holy cow 430 with the same .25. So does that mean I'm going to bring my collector HK PSG1 hydra out? (495fps w/.30) NO, but I will still shoot it in the safety of my basement or in a private field at targets not other players.

That is the entire point of this post since it is upgrades and modifications. Small things can help a lot
