Replacement spring
Hey guys. I have a CA m15a4 with stock internals and 25,000 –ish rounds put through it.
1. My fps has gone down. Nothing dramatic, it just doesn’t have as much “omf!” as it used to. 2. This is a result probably of my spring wearing down, correct? 3. Should I replace it with an m100 (basically my stock spring), an m110 or an m120? My head tells me to go with an m110 as an m120 would take other upgrades to make the gun stable, correct? Thank you for your patience. -Brett

25,000 rounds through it, you should change some of the internals first before getting a stronger spring. lowered fps can be a result of other internal parts besides the spring. personally i dont want high fps guns as it wears them down faster. i'll stick with the same spring fps as the stock one and replace some internal parts.

After 25k, it probably needs a lube job, maybe a new piston head O ring or bucking. An M110 should do well in that AEG.
