KSC G17 Metal Slide Upgrade Issues
Hi,
I just upgraded my KSC G17 to a G&P metal slide, and I have a few of issues that came up at the end of the upgrade. 1) Outer Barrel wobbles. The gun has an awful rattle to it now, any suggestions how to keep the barrel from wobbling? 2) Sights: The rear sight was easily transfered to from the old plastic slide to the new metal one, however, the front sight seems to be glued in to the plastic slide. Again, any suggestions on removing it? Or should I go for new sights? 3) The action (pulling the slide back) is far from smooth. Is it a matter of working it in, or just lubing it up, or something else? Thanks! |

The front site should have a screw inside the slide.

Got the front sight off, it was glued on. I kind of mangled it in the process, and retailers carry sights?:banghead:

Glue
I just ended up gluing the front site on, a couple dabs of super glue did the trick. Still have a rattle from the outer barrel.
