Toptech m4 and G%G gr16r4

Is the toptech m4 the technically the same as the G&G gr16 r4 except with blow back function and foward spring release button? Trying to decide between them. I know, i'm going to get AV'd soon.

I know it's not gas. But it does use a air piston right? So it shouldn't have an effect on the gearbox, only that there is a piston on the top of the gearbox.

It is an AEG but it has an additional, smaller piston assembly on top of the gearbox. This redirects some of the air compressed by the piston and give the gun a bit of a blowback feel and operates the "bolt".

Here's a link to Redwolf's Review.

Other than the blowback piston, it's a regular non-reinfirced Version 2 gearbox. The big problem is if the blowback assembly breaks or ceases functioning, how easy is it to get parts? The only other difference is the link that conncets the selector switch to the right side so the pin can rotate and show the selection on the right side. Nice touch, but not needed for the gun to function.
