How much do you think this gun is worth?

its the Daisy model 12, I think its also called Maruzen KG9, I heard its kinda rare, its not the blow back one, you have to manually pull back and load. I lost the plastic shells, but I know it works, I would like to sell it, any ideas what it might be worth and how much I should ask?

thanks in advance.

my cousin had a pair of mp5k's similar to that with the ejecting plastic shells. but it didn't shoot bb's rather they were shaped like badminton shuttlecocks.

hours of fun....searching for all the shells. lol

Well, he said he'd heard it was "kinda rare" and parts of the review might give him an idea of it's value, no?

Well unless you can prove it works, its nothing but a paperweight. I looked around on the web at similar products of that era and they are around 100 USD. But really, its only worth how much someone is willing to pay.

this isn't an auction, i was just wondering if it was worth anything in this condition to decide if i can sell it and make some cash on it, or just keep it for show. you guys say its worth $1, the american airsoft forum says its really rare and might be worth a lot. now im even more confused than before i posted

Well you dont have the shells which makes its resale not the best. I would say you might get $60 dollars off of someone who has one of the other shell ejecting maruzen/daisy rebrands.

Without the shells, the gun isn't worth a whole lot unless someone has shells for it. Now, if it had the shells, original box, paperwork, etc it would be probably worth several hundred bucks for its rarity, but only to a collector. Just the gun and shells couple probably get you a couple of hundred bucks too, but again, to a collector only.

Just the gun and nothing else, I would say you could possibly get $100 or so, maybe more, to someone who actually has shells already from another similar gun. In its current state of just the gun with nothing else, it's a useless paperweight IMO, regardless of its rarity. It's only valuable if its useable. And in this case, it isn't useable.
