New to Airsoft and this Forum, have some questions.

Hello,

my name is Peter.

I live in Ontario. I was just wondering if there are any sites that ship "non-clear" guns to Canada. I have a PPK, it's a pellet gun, with the copper coated balls, and it uses the small Co2 cartridges. I bought this from Le Baron.

However, Airsoft has nicer and funner guns. I'm not planning to do any professional airsoft fights. Just some fun target shooting, and possibly 1 on 1 battles with a friend. I'm 16, so I can't get age verified.

However my father is willing to buy the guns.

It'd be great if you could help a brother out, and tell me where I can buy these airsoft guns.

Thanks!

Peter

To buy airsoft guns in Canada, you pretty much have to be age verified and buy used or new guns from the users or retailers on this site.

you wont get the best reception here given your age mate minors have been accepted into this community however you have to go about it in a different way mostly obey this communitys rules

also in regards to target shooting airsoft guns arent really accurate enough to be used to target shoot a pellet gun would be better served in that role

cheers
bowers

p.s if you have any other questions i will be willing to try and answer them

Yeh, might just have to stick with the real and pellet guns. Dad just got his Firearms licence. Soon to get restricted firearms.

However, I thought that some automatic action would be a lot more fun.

Thanks for the fast replies!

If you're looking for target practice, you're barking up the wrong tree with airsoft. Even fully ugpraded guns aren't that accurate or powerful. You're much better off with a BB / pellet gun. And you can't import any non-clear guns from outside the country. If it was legal and easy, there'd be assloads of stores in Canada selling them. Since everyone sells clear, that should give you a hint right there.

We maintain a very strict 18+ policy for accquisition of airsoft. Even if your father was wanting to buy one for you, we wouldn't age-verify him for that purpose. We do our best to keep guns out of the hands of minors.

If you're only doing target shooting, stick with airguns.

I've always been responsible. Actually I'm planning to get a gun licence, a one for minors. If you are supervised by somebody who has a firearms licence, I can get one too.

But I'm not going to continue. Because rules are rules. I understand. Will be back in 2 years.

I find it odd, how they sell pellet guns, semi-auto, which are more lethal in my opinion than airsoft. dang government.

i find most airguns (with the exception of a few replica ones like the CX4 and a good number of air pistols) only kinda of replicate a firearm

where as airsoft are 1:1 with thier real steel counterparts in most cases

however dont forget the more lethal airguns are controlled and do require a PAL to purchase
