Looking for rifles but waiting for AV
Hey I've already tried to contact the AVers in my area to get verified, I'm 28 btw.
Looking to get into the sport slowly and cheeply, don't care really about quality the guns I'm looking to buy are just for target practice, if I'm going to go full bore, I need alot so want to get my feet wet first. The problem i have is that almost every thread dealing with online vendors is "they sell crapsoft, cheapsoft" then the poster gets referred to a AV only section, or called a noob for not being AV'd. I am just looking for some cheap rifles to get my feel for them. Looking at a few on websites, just don't know if they are reliable sources, hard to find that information, here due to most of the info being locked in AV sections. Any hints beyond getting AV'd which I will when the AV'ers for Orillia or Barrie contact me. Edit: for grammar and spelling |

Get av'd?
Seriously, it's your best bet. There are a few reputable online retailers, but they won't sell to you unless your AVd anyways, so... |

Welcome. I'd suggest researching the Kraken AK-47.

As I stated just waiting to AV'd then I'll be all set but looking for advice, was hoping to get a gun in the next week or so, and I have no idea how long getting AV'd will take.

I'm just one of those guys that's chomping at the bit to get something in my hands. So hard to wait!
Plus I'd rather avoid the Ak style, but if that's going to be my only option for now may have to deal with it. I am really trying to find a M14 style rifle, loved that gun forever. Have actually had the pleasure of firing one, nearly knocked me on my ass. (I was 12 at the time) |

Cheap guns?
"Well" brand for snipers "broxa" for mp5 "kraken" for ak-47 "JG/echo1/DBOYS" brand for most other guns although a little more pricey then a well, broxa or kraken brand gun but they are top quality for the price.

if u want a gun for target practice get an airgun u dont need to get age verified for an airgun and it'll be more accurate than an airsoft gun. Problem solved

If you want target practise pick up an Airgun. Not an airsoft gun, an Airgun.
They will be MUCH more accurate and the ballistics will be a lot truer to real guns. |

the deal with the target practice is to get a feel for the weapons over the winter and maybe go full out next spring in the sport.
i agree an airgun would be more accurate but they are not allowed in the sport, so I'm trying to get a gun that will allow me to get used to windage and the drop of the 6mm BB's Found the type of gun I may get seen a few reviews on it, just gonna wait now and see what the price of the model is. Got in touch with a AV'er hope to have it done this week. |
