foam stock mod
hi Ijust wanted to know if anyone has ever done the "foam stock mod" from (http://www.airsoftretreat.com/review...uct=216&cat=49)
And I wanted to know how did it go, some tricks to do it, where were your difficulties, and was it worth it (or did it break your stock) thx alot |

Take LOW EXPANDING Foam insulation and spray it in the stock and let it expand.
Once it's dry, neaten it up with an Xacto knife. Yea It's worth it. Reduced the noise on my VSR-10 by quite a bit. The guide they gave you is WAY too complicated. You don't need to drill holes or anything like that.. just use low-expanding foam insulation and spray it in, let it expand and dry, then neaten it up. On that note, about the VSR-10, does anyone know where to find new hop up units? Or do they even exist. I tried to disassemble my Well MB03 like usual, but as I opened up my hop-up chamber, the plastic piece that pushes down on the hop-up rubber flew out and broke.
Or more to the point do companies sell small pieces like that? step 14, 3rd pic |

This sounds like something I want to do. Where does one get such foam? Hardware store, like Home Depot or something?
