Help with buying a tight bore

Ok so i have a JG M4 S-system and currently it has a stock barrel, i am not sure of the length of the barrel so this is where i am hoping someone can help me out. I currently want to purchase a tight bore barrel but im not sure what length i should get to match my current stock barrel.

S-Systems are just dressed up M4A1s, so 363mm.

Pop out the rear body pin and crack open your receiver. Once doing that you should be able to pull out the hopup unit and inner barrel. I'd advise you not to remove your hopup unit as it could get damaged. Just simply take a ruler and measure end to end(of barrel only) in milimeters. My bet would be a 363mm. but just double check it yourself by measuring.

Alright i found this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/SYSTEMA-6-04-BS-...QQcmdZViewItem

I cant fine anything with a 6.03 or .02 which i hear makes a bigger difference compared to this one in the link against my stock barrel.

EDIT:

Alright i just found this:

How does Mad Bull compare to Systema ?

I'd buy MB over Systema. Cheaper and according to one study, better.

from my personal experience, barrels dont make much difference compared to stock. I had a stock AK 6.08mm firing much more accurate than a fully upgraded 6.03 prometheus M4. and trust me, that 90mm difference in length wont make that much difference either.

what gives you better accuracy is better hop up rubber, solid hop up, and a good hop up bucking.

6.04 or 6.03 won't make a whole lot of difference. I wouldn't even say it's noticeable.

However, I must disagree with Skladfin. I saw quite a noticeable increase in accuracy in all my guns that received tightbores. On my JG HK416, the 6.03 tightbore made a whole lot of difference. Grouping was noticeably tighter. Now, not that there was a problem with accuracy before, but shooting at about a 20 foot range, my groupings were tighter with the tightbore. On top of that, it boosted the velocity of the gun from 395 fps to 415 fps. I actually had to swap the regular barrel back into the gun in order to bring it to a game.

Ditto for my CA M15 rifle. I installed a Deepfire 6.04 and its accuracy and velocity both increased noticeably. Ditto for my upgraded pistols too, although velocity increase was negligable in those.

Sepulcrum also saw his JG HK416 go from 370 fps to 420+, but he also upgraded from a stock 10" barrel to a 20" tightbore, so that extra length played a big part in it as well.

go for prometheus, but if you dont care about price then PDI.

All PDI inner barrels and cylinders are cold-hammer forged, which is the same method as used to manufacture real sniper rifle barrels. The barrel is hammered from four sides by a hydraulic machine, while a round form is kept inside to produce the shape: Rifled for real rifles, round for PDI.

I run a Mad Bull one in my ICS M4A1. The groupings are noticeably tighter at about 30 feet. For the price, you can't beat the Mad Bull tight bores. I've never owned anymore of the expensive ones so I can't say if they're any better but I don't see the need for it to get any better than the Mad Bull. You're not trying to shoot dimes here. People are big.
