Airsoft is fucking awesome.
I thought this would end up in the trash so I tried posting it there. Apparently only mods can decide what's trash lol.
Anyways....airsoft is basically the coolest sport ever imagined. For several reasons: 1. Shooting people is fun. If you didn't die or didn't have to see other people dying, war would be cool. Airsoft. 2. Guns are sweet. Really sweet. I can have the armory I've dreamed about since I was 10 in airsoft form. Sure they're not 'real'...but you can shoot people with them. And how often would you be able to use your real-steel guns anyways? Not to mention the legality issues of assault weapons in Canada. 3. An excuse to buy combat gear. Dressing up would be pretty silly if we didn't have a reason for it. Again, war is awesome without the dying part. 4. Upgrading. Very popular these days with just about everything. It's fun to exercise your mechanical abilities and creativity. In conclusion, airsoft is fucking awesome. I am obsessed with this sport.

I like to pretend that airsoft is more of a training than a game. I'd rather spend a day doing drills and technical scenarios than playing a squirmish or regular milsims.
The rest just complement the trainning aspect to me. Replicating the read deal as close as possible and keeping it functionnal.

Took over the #2 spot of things to spend your money on after rent....even before food.....that should give you an idea of how much it means to me..

Yeah...does anyone get a paycheque, and before you do any funds transfering, bill paying, etc etc...do you tell yourself "No airsoft this week...relax!"
I go through this every two weeks. I get paid Fridays and i'm pretty much broke by Wednesday, lol. My parents have just stopped asking "whats in the box?" now. This sport seriously kicks. It's like a drug addiction....only you have LOTS of cool gear to show for your wallet being empty.
