G36CSL8 Concept?!

Alright, so in my brooding over my love for the SL8 and the G36 series, I pulled up the trusty old Photoshop and started mashing pixel art guns together... Now, I'm not even sure if this would be a possible mod (defiantly need a G36C, and an SL8) but here's the idea:

Personally, I think it looks like a bitchin variant... Questions, comments, concerns, conundrums, or pregnancies?

You can easily mix G36 and SL8 like that. I think it's already been done, in fact.

Just get the SL8 receiver and put a G36C handguard and outer barrel on it. Done!

Did this very thing two years ago. It's fun to run around with in CQB, but out in the woods you might as well take advantage of the rifle length barrel.

I would be up for doing this if the SL8 kits were cheaper.

I believe its already been done, the guy who made that custom kriss had a pic of his G36/SL8 over at his airsoftretreat thread on page 5.

Yea, that is similar, but I'd like a G36C top rail as well, just so I can add a Red dot or something in the future...

Any tips on what to buy to start building said demon-child?

The stock alone from a kit will not work. The back end of the receiver is unique to the 9. Basically you'd need a full receiver from the kit. The rest you can cannibalize from a C.
