This one is a bitch. It also has a direction. Use an hammer and small screwdriver for mine. Good luck.

Use needle nose pliers to pull out the cylender with dents on it. Be carefull not to dammage the Hop up rubber and lookout for the minuscule ball of steel that just want to roll away (the Hop up nob).
BTW you didn't needed to remove the previous pin to open the hop up.

yeh, you don't need to worry about removing the hop-up at all for the outer-barrel. that's a whole other dis-assembly process. all you need to do is take out the pin, the little thing with the spring on the bottom. just bump the pin out, and the inner-barrel assembly ought to fall out on it's own iirc. you might need to apply some clear tape, or something of that nature to keep it back in once you've put it into the new barrel. it's simply there to keep the barrel/hop-up unit from sliding out.

now that i put it in the new outer barrel the pin is not holding anything in and now it won't shoot BB's.

did you remember to put back the little cap bit, with the spring? also, check to make sure the pin is still in. i found mine loose when i installed my metal barrel, and had to use scotch tape to keep it in. hasn't given me any problems.
