Drum Mag For SL8 ?
Hi i have a Both Elephant SL8 and i really like the style of the assault rifle feature in the game FEAR.
So do anyone knows if the Star S-MAG Hi-Cap Magazine for G36 (2500rds) that A&A sells or any other drum mag available would fit on my SL8. Im pretty sure the mag that came with the gun is the same as a G36. If pictures of certain part of the gun can help i will post them asap. Thanks for the help

It SHOULD fit, however the BE SL8 isn't exactly a quality weapon, and the mag may jiggle or the mag might not even stay in the gun. BE weapons have a tendency to not accept a lot of magazine types.

I was going to say, you won't be much good in a game with it either way. I shouldn't think the groupings with it will be very good.

Yeah i know its not as bad as a clearsoft but its not a TM neither.
The gun cost me less than 100$ so even if its not enough to play in a game its not a loss. And i must say for the look not the internal the gun is pretty awesome because of is unusual look.

No drum mag will fit without modifacation. The inner reciever of the BE SL8 is different from CA and STAR SL8's and their magazines don't fit the BE SL8 without some minor changes. Can't really see the point in spending $100 on a magazine to throw on a $100 gun when it won't fit without modifacations.

Just to let know that i buy a Hero Arms Beta C-Mag for TM G36 from another user of the forum and it fit perfectly.
It looks exactly as the assault rifle in FEAR so i got what i wanted. And it's one hell of a big gun :P

i have one of those be sl8's, cept the only thing be left is the body. i put an upgraded echo1 gearbox in it and a gaurder hop rubber and i have to use a lipoly battery with it. i just have a be hi-cap mag for it. i dont have the long barrel on it so its basically like an assault rifle.
theres other brands of g36 dual drum mags than star. try evike or ehobbyasia
