help opning kings arms ambi mag release

help opning kings arms ambi mag release

i cant seem to get this dam thing to open as their is no screw to it i dont know how to open it dose any one know how to and ill post pictures of it in a few

Just installed one.

There is a screw on the right side (at the end of the rod) holding the button in place.

Also, the one I had needed a little force to be pulled off when the screw was removed. Can't blame them for making a tightfit on that.

is the hex key smaller then 1.5 mm cuz the one is really frign small

both 1.5mm and 1/16 inch worked for on my kingarms one, it was even a little too lose in my opinion.

still cant find the screw and the front of the catch were the screw would be knormal located it wont take a 1.5mm hex key any outher suggestions

Are you sure it's a KA unit?

The only units I know that DON'T have a screw, are NORGON AMBI-Catches. Those are for RS, though...

my last 2 KA ambi latches have been 1.3mm

1.3mm can be easier to find in 0.05". It is the same size.

thanks im hedding off to the local harwear store to pick up both and yes thats kings amrs came off their site and i recived mine in an unopend kings arms pacage
