Getting, pending reviews.
This is gonna be seriously awesome if it turns out to be wicked, it's already available in Indonesia according to Arnies.

Unbelievable... It'll never be a PTW though IMO.
Plus it's such a blatant rip-off OF the PTW. Looks amazing still

Some people think it might just be a bunch of vapourwear though.

Hmmm, an asian clone? I dont know what to think about that. Well I do, but I dont think I want to say anything about it just yet. This needs some thought.

already discussed deeply in ptw forum, price seems wrong from most feedback (too cheap to be true)
Also it didn't mention about realistic weight or material which this part they can cheap out on. |

Which asks the question: if you're going to do that, why not just get a Systema PTW to begin with?

A PTW is not just a "drop in a gearbox and go" sort of gun. There is a certain amount of precision required to ensure part "A" meets up with part "B" which meets up with part "C" sort-of-thing. If they cheap out on QC, you will never get the gun to work.
There is an alternative apparently in the works, but it won't be a cheap China clone. Instead, it will be a CNCd clone.

For some reason, since the ESTIMATED price is about $500USD, I'd assume after the usual patented Canadian price-gouging that it will be around $1100 to $1200, at which point if you seriously want to appreciate the technology, you may as well save up a bit more and get the REAL deal PTW which is tried and proven.
If a clone of a normal aeg CAN cause a lot of headaches, think about the possible things that can go wrong with a clone PTW where parts would be even scarcer and less available to find. Of course, I'll reserve my final judgment when the product gets more critical reviews in the rest of the airsofting world. |
