Some Newbie airsoft questions...
Well this is my first post on this forum. I am 16 years old and have become VERY interested in airsoft. I cannot play airsoft at this time, so I spend my time on these forums reading up on airsoft and learning new things about this amazing sport/hobby. Couple questions...
1)Some airsoft events allow 16-year-olds to play with adult permission and supervision I think. I do not own my own airsoft gun, do most of these events allow rental equipment (gun, tactical gear). Or is this rare...? 2)May I just show up to an airsoft event just to watch and maybe try out some of the participants guns? Thank you... |

1) Basically no events have rental guns. Any rental available is from individuals. Few if any events make explicit exception for allowing minors. Sometimes some sort of arrangement can be had if your father or mother plays and are well like, and they wanted to bring you along.
2) Usually you're more than welcome to watch and fondle (with permission) guns, though it's always a good idea to PM the game host before hand.

If you're aware that American law is not the same as Canadian law, please do not suggest things like you just suggested. Here in Canada, running around with fake guns in your backyard will get you a visit from our SWAT units.

ArmAndHammer, usually the best thing to do is to come watch a game, show people that ur interested, talk to the people, who knows, if u ask around at the game, ask if they would let u rent out

You are lucky you do not live in a urban area...people walking by still give me and my friend the looks...even though it is a clear airsoft gun!

It's accurate, it has semi and full auto, and looks/feels real. To me no clearsoft can beat that. If I wanted to look like I was playing with a toy, I'd play paintball again, or bust out some dollies.
