My Black Hawk Down Ranger (1st try)

Hello,

Just finished off this Somalia Ranger loadout, so I want to get some feedback.

This is a stepping stone on the way to a Iraq '04 US Army loadout.

Things I know might be a bit wrong...

1. Boots: British Army, but what the hey, most people dont look at your feet when in the skirmish field

2. The Flak Jacket: I cant get a US woodland XL Flak Jacket for love nor money so went for my more modern jacket (hence the MOLLE strips!)

3. The '60: Probably should have a ammo bag for the belt hanging off the gun and the Rangers probably didnt wear extra ammo like Mexican Bandits, but hey-ho.

The helmet cover is choc-chip desert while the BDU's are 3 colour desert with green name tags andfull colour American flag.

according to the 'powers of the internet' actual rangers didnt do that. Only used in the movie so the audience can keep track of who is who.

Don't worry, name on helmet band is SOP, but he was referring to scrawling your surname on the actual helmet cover as seen in the movie.

You rip the clips at the end of your suspenders, you then take a piece of 550 paracord then you run it through the suspenders and into the belt holes. Tie a knot at each end and voila!
