The star one is a light gray, and will run you about $1,200. The CA one is a dark charchol, and will run you about $800. If you want a white one, you'll have to use krylon or something.

Edit: Sorry, I used Canadian prices. Cut those in half (400 and 600) and that's probably what you're looking at.

i dont think spray painting would be a great idea. i have that krylon plastic paint for our orange tips, the kind that bonds with plastic and it only coats the outer layer and still can be rubbed off. also it gets gummy from the oils in your skin
if its actually grey and not white then ive already seen it on ebay

The one in the picture is a real H&K SL-8, not an airsoft gun. And it is a very light grey, not white.

The airsoft one, at least the CA, is this colour: (this is a G36, but the SL8 is basically the same)

Here's an intresting read on the real SL8.
http://www.hkpro.com/sl8.htm

There was a company a couple years ago that was rumored to be doing a white german SL8, but I never heard anything more from them. Right now all that exist is the Star, CA and china clones of it.

Get any SL8

Paint white with any acrylic based paint
Apply 2 thin coats of Krylon flat clear coat.

Voila!

Then get a CA SL-8 and put a long rail on it like I did with the G36.

Don't do that.

Gun oil will attack your hopup rubber (and is nasty to anything plastic)
