G36c TM going sniper?
Hey guys, i m about to buy a very good TM G36C and i was wondering about one thing...since i checked around online but didn t have any straight answers...i thought about asking you guys...
I want to convert that G36 to a kinda sniper rifle model...with a longer barrel of course and i know there s a front piece on the market...that will probably be simple but the other thing is the stock...it got the original folding stock but i wanted to put on that cool looking 1 piece stock that you see on certain models... There was a pic of it in the classifieds but can t find it anymore...hold by a guy in winter camo....can you guys tell me if i can actually do something like that or do i have to simply go with the longer barrel and just change the stock to a more longer version of a full stock? (like on my upcoming M15A4 tactical carbine). any inputs appreciated...cause i m getting ready to get that guy...for a good price ty again, |

Well if you want the SL8 kit, you can't import it because it includes restricted parts [the receiver], and be prepared to pay as much as you paid for you gun [$500].

If you want a G36 for a sniper, go with the G36E (full size G36). Overall you'd only have to swap stocks if you wanted a large battery, throw in a tightbore and a more powerful spring with spring guide, a new rail, and a scope. I've recieved quotes on the SL-9 conversion kit, and you're looking at $560 plus shipping. The above would be much cheaper.

I asked LeGros at Shootsoft.ca for the SL-9 SD kit.
550$ +shipping. Not that bad. I don't know where you got your 560+ price |

007 and A&A, before shootsoft was operating. It's still expensive consider my G36 cost me $560 -I'd be paying the exact same price (more, if you include shipping) for a conversion kit that doesn't offer anything in way of improved performance.

Well after reading and checking all the stuff around, i think i ll keep that g36c For CQB since it s the short model and the guy gives me the grip with the kit...and i ll get a real sniper rifle model eventually that will cost me less than transforming everything on a gun M15 will be my woodland gun, g36c, the cqb one...and then i ll grab a sniper later...Thanks for all the input
