Motor height adjustment question... after using search

okay. so i read all the other threads i can with the search function.
but i still have one question that is not answered.

should the motor sound more toward the tight side or more whinny side?

i like how quiet it sounds when it is more toward the tight side but which would give me minimal long term gear wear?

thanks

Adjust for minimum whine. Easier if you don't have an EG1000 in there, EG700s are quieter.

usually, you can tight it at 1/4 turn at the time, then when it start making noise, un-tight about 1/2 turn.

That is about as close as you can get to perfect...
