Crazy DSR-1!
Found this on the net, not sure if this is the right place to put this but anyways... Remember the guy (Candyman) who custom built the airsoft version of the WA2000? Well he's made an airsoft version of the DSR-1 this time and it looks sweet!

Wow, that guy is an amazing craftsman.
He should probably get into real-steel gunsmithing... |

If you guys haven't already, check out his WA2000 and Unique Alpine TPG-1 as well. I think he does arnie's first. There's a thread for each gun there, many many pages long

hm... I was wondering about the same thing since I've been thinking about building a SVT40 for airsoft, not sure if its legal to do... but common sense tells me that it would be illegal.

It's incredible! I like!
I wonded if an integral barel machined to be a tightbore would make a big difference in shot placement accuracys. Absolutly no flex or play in the barrel... I'd like to try that out on my M24.

About legality, I think Candyman in the UK gets it by as a modification on an existing gun (he uses the internals from an existing airsoft gun after all), which means he is not actually creating a new RIF, which would be illegal.
Not sure in Canada, but I would presume the entire process to be illegal since for us, it's based a lot more on looks.
